This tutorial explains the steps for generating and bookmarking a table of contents (TOC). Bookmarks and TOCs are separate features but the objective of this tutorial is to explain the steps to display the list items of the TOC in the Bookmark area. When adding list items in the Bookmark area, we defined the heading level as 2 which means all the headings placed inside PDF document at level 2 are included in the Bookmark area. We also select EnglishLower as heading numbering style from HeadingType enumeration. In the output PDF, we can access specific paragraphs in the PDF by selecting an item from the TOC, or from the Bookmark area.
